The group is more specifically specialized in various type of assets like shopping centers, hotels, residential and offices with a track-record based principally in Europe (France, Monaco and Luxembourg).

 

As a global developer & operator, it commands all the skills and know-how necessary for the correct and thorough completion of its activities and value-added chain (investment, development, building, asset / property management, marketing) and operates its own assets among them 2 shopping centers in dynamic cities located in south of France, 3 office centers in France and Luxembourg, and several residentials assets in Paris and south of France.

With the support of 50 professionals, the group is ideally positioned to generate superior value and to set its ambition to create world-class projects.

 

In 2018 the group set up a subsidiary in the United States and more specifically in Miami, to operate new projects with 3 luxury residential properties situated on the venetian islands. Our ambition is to develop our business with other activities/assets within the next 5 years (most likely offices and shopping destinations).

 

We are looking for our Junior Project Manager to work on construction projects with the Project Manager in charge.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • In charge with the PM of overseeing construction engineering, planning, budgeting and design for residential projects from the conception to the construction works until their acceptance and until correction of defects and completion of outstanding works.

  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones

  • Help to prepare reports, specifications, technical analysis to fully define the design requirements, equipment and services required

  • With the PM, provide overall site management, coordination, planning, specification of business proposals and coordination of subcontractors

  • With the PM, schedule all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, especially those in critical path to ensure timely completion.

  • Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.

  • Be part of the contracts negotiation with subcontractors and present formal documentation for approval when required

  • Be part of the contractors audit to check that the skills and competences of contract labor are appropriate to need and they are fit to undertake the work on which they will be deployed

  • Inform contractors of projected changes in resource or work demand so that they can take appropriate action

  • Ensure that contracted resources deliver work to meet duration, budget and quality targets, addressing and ensuring the correction of under-performance issues

WORK CONTEXT

FREQUENT PROFESSIONAL RELATIONS:

  • Reports to a Project manager based in Miami

  • Frequent interactions with an international team of coworkers based in Europe (France and Luxembourg)

  • Frequent relations all US architects, subcontractors, public services, legal adviser, design and technical consultants,…

  • Ability to travel throughout the Europe frequently (2 to 4 yearly)

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:  

 

Master’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

 

3/4 years of experience as construction professional.

Professional network in construction.

Experience in luxury assets is a great plus.

KNOWLEDGE:

 

  • Ability to perform work accurately and completely and in a timely manner

  • Proficient in office and formal presentation skills.

  • Experience with construction software is preferred

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and technical documents, cost reports, legal and regulatory documents and plans, drawings, specifications, building codes and other technical product and material data.

  • Experience managing all aspects of construction projects including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical.

  • Ability or recognize non-compliant conditions and initiate corrective measures.

 

PERSONALITY SKILLS:

 

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently on a autonomy basis

  • Exceptional communication (verbal, written) and presentation skills.

  • Ability to establish and maintain efficient business relationships.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to work on tight deadlines and handle stressful situations in a calm manner.

LANGUAGES:

 

  • Fluency French is a plus
